Family Learning

We run a range of programmes supporting parent, carers and children to learn in fund and safe environments. Some of our courses are accredited, but most are just for the joy of learning and to help familiies grow and enjoy their lives together. We run courses in chlidren's centres, schools, parka and community venues all over Islington.

Family learning in school

Family learning in schools is either delivered through one off workshops or a series of short non-accredited courses. They give parents and carers the opportunity to find out how things are taught in their own child's schoo, as well as a chance to share ideas with other parents and develop their own skills. Some of the courses/workshops we deliver in shcools include: 'Supporting your child in transition', 'Preparing for Year 7' and 'Family Wellbeing', etc...

We work with schools to plan and deliver workshops for their parents. Please contact your school to see what family learning is being delivered in your school or to contact us if they wish us to deliver in their school.

Family learning in Bright Start and other organisations supporting chlidren aged 0 to 5 years, and their families

We partner and collaborate with Bright Start and other organisations who support families of children aged 0 to 5 years.
