Safeguarding
Islington Adult Community Learning takes seriously its responsibility for creating an environment that promotes well-being and ensures personal safety, security and welfare. Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all learners is the responsibility of all members of staff. Our approach is learner-centred and, where appropriate, takes a multi-agency approach. Within this duty of care, the service actively promotes British Values, defined by the Government as comprising of:

All staff receive appropriate safeguarding and online safety training at induction and have regular updates in the form of meetings, emails and bulletins to ensure they keep all our learners safe. has a responsibility to help ensure your safety and welfare.
