Course details

<p><span style="font-size:14px">Are you recovering from stress, anxiety or mild depression?</span></p>

<p><span style="font-size:14px">If so, our Like Minds courses are ideal to help improve your physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing as you learn to express yourself.</span></p>

<h1><span style="font-size:14px">As well as completing individual tasks, you will take part in group activities, so you will have opportunities to take time out to focus on yourself, whilst coming together with others in a similar situation.</span></h1>

<p><span style="font-size:14px">We offer the following courses:</span></p>

<ul>
<li><span style="font-size:14px">Like Minds Art - Tuesdays 10am to 12.30 OR Tuesdays 1pm to 3.30pm both classes run at The Maltings in the City Centre</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size:14px">Like Minds Crafts - Wednesdays 10am to 12:30 this class runs at the Maltings in the City centre</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size:14px">Like Minds Yoga - Monday 10am to 12:00 OR Thursday 10am to 12:00 both classes run at the Bob Jones centre in Blakenhall</span></li>
</ul>

<p><span style="font-size:14px">You can enrol at any point throughout the year if there are spaces.</span></p>

Course requirements

<p>You will need to be referred by your GP or health professional.  A referral form can be obtained either from the Continuing Education department, or from Student Services.  Contact details can be found at the end of form.</p>

<p>Prior to starting the course, you will discuss your individual needs with one of our team.</p>

<p>This course is suitable for all levels of ability and experience.</p>

How will I learn?

<p>Most sessions will be delivered face-to-face.</p>

<p>You will take part in group and individual activities with support from your teacher and fellow students. You will have access to appropriate learning resources and a learning environment suitable to your individual needs.</p>

<p>In addition, there may be online sessions where you will learn to use Microsoft Teams.</p>

<p>Learning Support is available if you have a learning disability, let us know on your application if you require support.</p>

What qualification will I get?

<p>This is a non-qualification course.</p>

What will I be able to do after this course?

<p>You will be able to enrol onto a wide range of creative courses at Adult Education Wolverhampton.</p>
