<p>This short, supportive wellbeing session is designed to help you understand your own mental wellbeing and explore simple, practical ways to feel more confident, manage stress, and move towards volunteering, learning or employment. It is ideal for anyone wanting to improve their wellbeing, build confidence, or prepare for positive next steps.</p>

<p>You will explore:<br />
• What wellbeing means and how it affects daily life<br />
• Personal triggers and early warning signs<br />
• Helpful coping strategies to stay well<br />
• Your strengths, confidence and motivation<br />
• Managing stress in work, learning or volunteering<br />
• Planning realistic next steps<br />
• Local support services and progression routes</p>

Course requirements

<p>This course is open to everyone. There are no entry requirements or prior qualifications needed — just a willingness to learn, reflect and take steps to improve your wellbeing.</p>

How will I learn?

<p>This course is delivered <strong>face-to-face</strong> and includes group discussion, guided tasks, reflection activities and supportive conversation.<br />
You may also complete short wellbeing tools or planning activities.<br />
One-to-one support can be offered if needed.</p>

How will my progress be monitored and assessed?

<p>You will record your reflections and goals on your <strong>Individual Learning Plan</strong>.<br />
Staff will also check in with you to ensure you feel supported, and will help you review your wellbeing, confidence and next-step plans.</p>

Are there any additional costs?

<p>No — <strong>there are no additional costs.</strong></p>

What qualification will I get?

<p>There is no qualification for this short course.<br />
However, we can support you to move onto accredited courses such as the <strong>Level 1 Award in Volunteering</strong> or other AEW programmes if you choose to.</p>

What will I be able to do after this course?

<p>You will have the opportunity to progress onto:<br />
• Further wellbeing courses<br />
• Level 1 Award in Volunteering<br />
• Employability or digital skills courses<br />
• Community volunteering roles<br />
• Other AEW courses that suit your goals</p>
