<li>A nationally recognised Level 2 qualification for adults who want to work in schools supporting pupils’ learning.</li>
<li>Ideal for those who wish to become a teaching assistant, learning support assistant or classroom helper.</li>
<li>Develops knowledge of child development, safeguarding, communication, behaviour support and professional practice in schools.</li>
<li>Combines classroom learning with practical experience in a school setting (placement is required).</li>

Course requirements
<ul>
<li>You must be aged 19 or over.</li>
<li>You will need to be working at a minimum of a Level 2 in your English skills to support your written work.</li>
<li>A DBS check may be required for work placement </li>
<li>Commitment to completing coursework, attending lessons and participating in placement tasks.</li>
<li>Ability to complete a school placement</li>
