<p>It explores the different types of dementia, how it affects individuals, and the principles of person-centred care. The course is ideal for individuals working in, or interested in working in, health and social care, as well as those who want to improve their knowledge for personal or professional reasons.</p>

<p>The course is typically delivered through flexible or distance learning, allowing you to study at your own pace around your commitments.</p>

<p>To enrol on this course, you should:</p>

<ul>
<li>Be aged 19 or over</li>
<li>Have a basic level of English (Entry Level 3 or above recommended)</li>
<li>Be able to complete written assignments</li>
<li>Be willing to study independently and meet deadlines</li>
<li>No previous qualifications are required.</li>
</ul>

<p>This is a distance learning course, so you can study from home.</p>

<p>Support is provided remotely by the course team.</p>
