<p>Are you recovering from stress, anxiety or depression?</p>

<p>If so, our Like Minds courses are ideal to help improve your physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing as you learn to express yourself.</p>

<p><span style="font-size:14px">As well as completing individual tasks, you will take part in group activities, so you will have opportunities to take time out to focus on yourself, whilst coming together with others in a similar situation.</span></p>

<p>We offer the following courses:</p>

<ul>
<li>Like Minds Art</li>
<li>Like Minds Crafts</li>
<li>Like Minds Yoga</li>
</ul>

<p>Courses start in September, but you can enrol at any point throughout the year if there are spaces.</p>

Course requirements

<p>You will need to be referred by your GP or health professional.  A referral form can be obtained either from the Continuing Education department, or from Student Services.  Contact details can be found at the end of form.</p>

<p>Prior to starting the course, you will discuss your individual needs with one of our team.</p>

<p>This course is suitable for all levels of ability and experience.</p>

How will I learn?

<p>Most sessions will be delivered face-to-face.</p>

<p>You will take part in group and individual activities with support from your teacher and fellow students. You will have access to appropriate learning resources and a learning environment suitable to your individual needs.</p>

<p>In addition, there may be online sessions where you will learn to use Microsoft Teams.</p>

<p>Learning Support is available if you have a learning difficulty or disability, let us know on your application if you require support.</p>

How will my progress be monitored and assessed?

<p>Assessment takes place throughout your study</p>

<p>Regular monitoring of progress will help to identify any support you might need.</p>

<p>Throughout the course, you will discuss with your teacher what you want to achieve and record it on your ILP. You will decide with your teacher how long it will take to achieve your goals and you will receive verbal and written feedback throughout from your teacher.</p>

Are there any additional costs?

<p>For many students the course is free. </p>

<p>You will need to supply your own writing materials such as pens, paper and folders but you may be able to loan laptops and MiFi to enable you to learn at home.</p>

What qualification will I get?

<p>This is a non-qualification course.</p>

What will I be able to do after this course?

<p>You will be able to enrol onto a wide range of creative courses at Adult Education Wolverhampton.</p>
