Course details

<ul>
<li>Functional Skills English Level 1 gives students the <strong>practical reading, writing, speaking and listening skills</strong> needed for everyday life, work and further study.</li>
<li>Edexcel Functional Skills qualifications are available from Entry 1 to Level 2 and are widely accepted for apprenticeships, employment and progression routes.</li>
<li>Level 1 is ideal for adults progressing from ESOL or Entry Level English who want to build confidence with real-world English tasks.</li>
</ul>

Course requirements

<li>You must be aged 19 or over.</li>
<li>Recommended for students working at <strong>Entry 3</strong> or higher in literacy.</li>
