Course details

<li>A practical introductory course designed to help adults learn basic British Sign Language (BSL) for use in the workplace.</li>
<li>Ideal for staff who work with the public, customers or colleagues who may be Deaf or hard of hearing.</li>
<li>Focuses on simple, relevant signs and phrases used in everyday workplace situations.</li>
<li>A supportive, non-qualification course that promotes inclusive communication and accessibility at work.</li>

<li>Fingerspelling for names and key information</li>
<li>Common workplace signs and phrases</li>

Course requirements

<ul>
<li>You must be aged 19 or over.</li>
<li>No previous BSL knowledge or qualifications required.</li>
<li>Suitable for complete beginners.</li>
<li>Willingness to practise signing and take part in interactive activities.</li>
<li>An interest in improving communication and inclusion in the workplace.</li>
</ul>
