What the course is about

<p>Looking after your own mental health and well-being is an important part of being a parent and carer. Parenting is a full-time job - as well as the rewards it can also be tiring and stressful. If you feel low or stressed - it can feel even harder.</p>

<p>This fascinating course will help you focus on the things which make a difference for you - one size definitely doesn’t fit all!</p>

<p>Learning activities may include:</p>

<li>Top tips on maintaining positive relationships</li>
<li>Identifying and dealing with issues the Covid-19 Pandemic has brought</li>
<li>Exploring family dynamics and practicing the art of Coaching and Negotiation</li>
<li>Fun activities to improve your personal health and well-being;</li>
<li>Learning simple mindfulness techniques to restore balance in your life</li>
<li>Looking at what other support is available in your local area</li>

<p>Some of the skills you gain on this course could help increase your opportunities for employment or working within the community.</p>

<p>Learning takes place in a friendly classroom setting, which is a great place for social interaction and helping you meet new people.</p>

<p>All our courses are made up of elements of speaking & listening, reading?and writing, and you will work using these elements throughout the course.</p>

<p>Practice at home and completion of homework is advisable to enhance your learning experience.</p>

<strong>Off-site activities:</strong> with some courses, there may be the opportunity for off-site enrichment activities at additional cost, for example: gallery, museum or exhibition visits. Where this is an integral part of the course, your tutor will discuss the arrangements with you during your induction.<br />
