Assessment of progress, tests, exams

This course is accredited as City & Guilds Entry Level Introductory Award in Employability Skills (Entry 2) = (601/3623/6). We will choose to complete Unit 5546-205 Entry 2 Introduction to ICT and then Unit 5546-901 Entry Level Introductory Award in Employability Skills (Entry 2) to claim the accreditation.

The course is assessed via a portfolio of work that will be completed as we go along.

Who the course is for / Previous experience, knowledge or qualifications

This course is suitable for everyone. Do not worry if you have no previous experience of ICT as everyone else on the course will be in the same boat.

Materials and costs

There are no additional costs to learners as we will provide a computer room to work in and access to an Office 365 account. Learners might like to bring a pen and paper if they want to write down some notes on how to do things. It is helpful to have a computer to practice on at home but that is not a requirement of the course and most libraries have computers you can use for free if you do not have one of your own.
