Crochet: Make a Summer Bralette

<p>Perfect for lazy days in the sun or partying at a music festival, bralettes are similar to bras but lack the structure. They are not wired, lined, or padded. Bralettes are comfortable and simple to wear. Combining that with the handmade quality of a crochet bralette gives you an effortlessly stylish top or layer for any summer occasion! </p>

<p>In these sessions learn how to adapt and customise crochet bralette patterns ensuring the perfect fit for you or whoever you choose to gift these to. These sessions will include advice on how to ensure you are providing enough support.  </p>

<p>This course is suitable for confident beginners. You will need to be able to do basic crochet stitches with even tension. </p>

<p>Depending on your pace of crocheting you may need to complete some of your bralette at home, either between the sessions or when the course has finished.   </p>

<p>There are no Pre-course admission sessions or interviews in order to enrol on this course. </p>

<p>There is no qualification or examination attached to this course. </p>

<p>This course is suitable for confident beginners. You will need to be able to do basic crochet stitches with even tension. </p>

<p>There will be crochet hooks available for you to use during the course – these will be standard 4.5mm hooks and are for use on the course but not to take home. You are more than welcome to bring your own hook if you have one that you like to use and would be needed if you wish to practice at home between sessions. </p>

<p>A selection of double-knit (DK) cotton yarn in a variety of colours will be available for you to choose from.  You will be allocated 1 ball of yarn each session and that will be yours to use and take home and keep, however if you have a favourite DK or Aran cotton yarn you wish to use you are welcome to bring that along.  </p>

<p>We recommend you bring a spare hook (4.5mm) or safety pin to save and take home any unfinished work.  This will allow you to continue at home. </p>

<strong>Fully funded learners:</strong> if you have been offered a fully funded place on a course and no longer require it, you must advise us before the course starts so that your place can be offered to someone else. We reserve the right to withdraw future offers of fully funded places if you regularly do not start or complete funded courses.<br />
<strong>Home study:</strong> you will&nbsp;be required to do significant&nbsp;study at home between sessions to assist with your learning and progress.<br />

<strong>Proof of identity:</strong> please bring photographic ID and your National Insurance number with you to your first session. You will also need to provide it for any external examinations you take.<br />
<strong>Off-site activities:</strong> with some courses, there may be the opportunity for off-site enrichment activities at additional cost, for example: gallery, museum or exhibition visits. Where this is an integral part of the course, your tutor will discuss the arrangements with you during your induction.<br />
<strong>Parking at centres:</strong> parking at centres may be limited; please be prepared to use on street parking or pay and display car parks.
