What is this course about?

<p>This course will enable you to have a better understanding of how to manage your wellbeing. The course covers:</p>

<ul>
<li>What stress is</li>
<li>Why might we be feeling stressed</li>
<li>What causes stress (stressors) and the impact it has on you</li>
<li>How stress works (fight or flight) response.</li>
</ul>

<p>You will learn strategies and techniques to help manage stress differently / better including:</p>

<li>Managing worry</li>
<li>Focusing on what we can control</li>
<li>Maintaining balance (behavioural activation)</li>
<li>Challenging negative thoughts </li>
<li>Refocusing on the present</li>
</ul>

Who is this course for?

<p>The course is for anyone who would like to improve their health & wellbeing.</p>

Are there any entry requirements?

<p>You must be aged 19 and over by the 31st of August 2023 and be eligible for publicly funded. </p>

<p>Knowledge of English language.</p>

Do I need to have an interview before I can enrol?

<p>No</p>

How will I be taught?

<p>The workshop will be delivered by a qualified IAPT (Improving Access to Phycological Therapies) practitioner using MS Teams platform. You will need to have access to the internet on your laptop, desktop computer or SMART phone. </p>

<p>You will need to download MS Teams on your device prior to the workshop. We will provide details on how you can do this when you enrol on the course. </p>

What feedback will I get?

<p>You will receive feedback from your tutor throughout the workshop, as and when appropriate.</p>
