What is this course about?

<p>The course is about learning to use digital devises and carry out essential basic tasks that you need for everyday life. The course also helps you to work safely online.</p>

Who is this course for?

<p>The course is for clients at Ingeus who sign up for digital courses with Haringey Learns</p>

Are there any entry requirements?

<p>You must be 19 or over, by 31st August 2026. Enrolment is subject to GLA funding eligibility being confirmed in respect of residency, income and prior attainment and a skills check.</p>

Do I need to have an interview before I can enrol?

<p>You will have a skills check with your tutor, before you enrol.</p>

How will I be taught?

<p>You will be taught safely in face to face lessons.</p>

What feedback will I get?

<p>Your tutor will work closely with you and give you feedback in lessons, after completing tasks, and at regular intervals throughout the duration of the course.</p>

How will I be able to give my views on the course?

<p>You will be able to give your views on the course, in a feedback form at the end of your course. You may also be asked for feedback from the funders or Ofsted.</p>

What course can I do next?

<p>We offer a range of IT/Digital courses, either at community venues or at our centre in Wood Green. you can access a non-accredited course or an accredited course that leads to a qualification, when you are ready. You can also study other subjects like English, Maths or one of our Career Development or Pathways to employment courses.</p>

Assessment Method

<p>You will be assessed by your tutor through tasks and activities throughout the course. There is no exam at the end of this course but your tutor will monitor the skills and competencies that you develop as a learner.</p>

Equipment Required

<p>You will be asked to bring a folder, writing paper and pens to your classes. You will have access to laptops in your class, that you will use during lessons.</p>
