What the course is about
<p>The EDSQ will help you to become more confident in using smartphones, laptops and the internet safely and effectively. You will learn how to use digital devices to create documents, search for information, keep in touch with friends and family, shop online, and manage your online security. You can also achieve a recognised qualification in March 2025 at either Entry Level or Level 1, depending on your skills.</p>
<p>You MUST attend in the first week to be initially assessed and placed into a level for the qualification. This course requires a minimum of 80% attendance to pass.</p>
Previous experience, knowledge or qualifications
<p>You must be able to switch on a digital device, carry out a basic internet search, send an email, and open a Word document. If English is not your first language you should have achieved ESOL Entry 3 or equivalent. You should also have access to a computer, tablet or laptop and have a stable internet connection.</p>
