What the course is about
<p>Do you trust everything you see and hear in the media and online? How can you tell fact from fiction in an increasingly digital world? What are bots, troll farms, and deep fakes? Where does the 'real' end and the 'fake' begin? This short course will get you thinking about these and other questions. It will help you to separate the facts from the fiction, and will sharpen your critical thinking and digital literacy skills - essential life skills for the age of AI and digital media.</p>
Previous experience, knowledge or qualifications
<p>You must be able to use email, search online, use MS Word, and be familiar with video call apps such as Zoom or MS Teams. You must have access to a laptop or tablet, and have a stable internet connection.</p>
