What this is about
<p>Apply for volunteer roles with Wokingham Borough Council Adult Education. To support tutors with delivery of Digital Skills sessions and courses, support with setting up classroom environments and supporting learners during lessons. The role will include supporting tutors during lessons with setting up the classroom, supporting learners with IT skills during sessions, 1-1 support during sessions. At the beginning of the session, volunteers will be paired up with a student. Working one to one, volunteers support learners with basic digital queries and help to develop their confidence with being online. The students will bring their questions, so you will be working on something different every week. You will get to know the people you support and understand the barriers they face to getting online, helping them to overcome them.</p>
