What this is about

<p><span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif">This training course teaches you essential skills in using Microsoft Excel for budgeting purposes. In the course, you will cover the following:-</span></span></p>

<ul>
<li><span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif">A basic introduction to how to use Excel.</span></span></li>
<li><span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif">Create a spreadsheet and enter budget data.</span></span></li>
<li><span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif">Use Excel functions to calculate the data entered to create a budget.</span></span></li>
<li><span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif">Apply basic formatting to enhance the data entered.</span></span></li>
<li><span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif">Saving the spreadsheet, opening and updating it.</span></span></li>
</ul>

Previous experience, knowledge or qualifications

<p><span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="background-color:white"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif"><span style="color:black">Some existing use of Excel (or similar spreadsheet application) and experience of using a computer / tablet generally would be expected. For example, using a keyboard & mouse / touchscreen and using files & folders.  If you have previously used Microsoft Excel even at a very basic level this will help, but please contact us to discuss if you are not sure if this course is suitable for you. This course is not suitable for those who use Excel regularly and will not cover advanced skills such as data analysis and pivot tables. </span></span></span></span></p>
