Horsham SEND event – morning session

<p><span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif">This event is for families with children aged 0-11 years with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) and their siblings, parent/carers.</span></span></p>

<p><span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif">No prior skills or knowledge needed.</span></span></p>

<p><span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif">You will be asked to complete a short evaluation questionnaire at the end of the session.  This will help us to understand what you and your children have enjoyed and learned.  Your feedback is valued so that we can continue to improve on the service we provide.</span></span></p>

<p><span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif">This session will provide an opportunity for children with SEND and their families to enjoy many varied sensory experiences.  Activities include scented play experiences, dark dens, light boxes, outside play, water play, messy play, arts and crafts, to name a few!</span></span></p>

<p><span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif">The session will provide ideas for new play experiences that can be used at home.  </span></span></p>

<p><span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif">Parents/carers will also benefit from networking with other parents/carers and seeking advice and guidance from SEND professionals.</span></span></p>

<p><span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif">The session will take place in the family hub building, with activities set out in the large hall, social space and outside play area.  </span></span></p>
