How will my progress be assessed?
<p>The tutor will give guidance during the session and there will be opportunities for questions. You will be asked to complete a short questionnaire at the end of the session. </p>
What will the course cover?
<p>This baby weaning course is designed to help parents confidently introduce solid foods to their little one. We’ll cover when and how to start weaning, including tips for recognising your baby’s readiness and what foods to introduce at each stage. Learn about common allergies, food intolerances, and how to safely introduce allergens. We’ll also explore baby-led weaning vs. purees, share strategies to make mealtime enjoyable, and teach you how to handle gagging and choking. Plus, we’ll provide simple, nutritious recipe ideas to get you started. This course will give you the knowledge and confidence to navigate the weaning process with ease. </p>
How will I be taught?
<p>Sessions will be led by a tutor in small groups. Babies can be present for this workshop, but the class is aimed at parents. There will be handouts and visuals to support your learning. Please note, our tutors are not experts in this field; we aim to offer you comprehensive guidance based on our own research. </p>
What will I need to bring?
<p>You do not need to bring anything. </p>
Will I get a qualification?
<p>No.</p>
What will I be able to do after this course?
<p>You will have comprehensive guidance on research into weaning your baby. You will have lots of the information needed to be able to confidently begin to wean your baby on to solid foods when your baby is ready. Please note, this should be carried out alongside your own research on what is right for you and your baby. </p>
