Who is the course for
<p><span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif">These sessions are aimed at families with children aged 3/4 who will be starting school this September. However, if your child is starting school next September then you will more than welcome! Siblings welcome. </span></span></p>

What skills, knowledge or experience do I need to start this course

How will my progress be assessed?
<p><span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif">You will be asked to complete a ‘Getting to know you’ form before your first session, followed by a quick learner profile at the start and end of the course to show what you enjoyed, learnt and found helpful. </span></span></p>
What will the course cover?
<p><span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif">Getting Ready for School is a supportive, fun course designed to help parents prepare their pre<span style="font-family:"Cambria Math",serif">-</span>school child for starting school with confidence. Through play<span style="font-family:"Cambria Math",serif">-</span>based activities, discussion, and practical ideas, parents will learn how to support their child’s learning, independence, communication, and emotional wellbeing at home.</span></span></p>

<p><span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif">Each session includes shared activities for parents and children, alongside simple strategies parents can use in everyday routines.</span></span></p>
How will I be taught?
<p><span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif">The sessions will be delivered by a tutor in small groups. </span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif">You are able to bring your children along and learn together. </span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif">There will also be opportunities for parents/carers to learn helpful information while your children play. </span></span></p>
What will I need to bring?
