Who is the course for
<p>This course is aimed at families with children of 18 months – 6 years. </p>
What skills, knowledge or experience do I need to start this course
<p>No previous knowledge required. </p>
How will my progress be assessed?
<p>The tutor will ask you to complete a short questionnaire at the beginning and end of the course, asking what you would like to achieve from the sessions and whether you feel this has been achieved by the end. The tutor will also give you guidance throughout the course and answer any questions you may have. </p>

What will the course cover?
<p>Big Chef, Little Chef is a fun, interactive course where parents and carers can team up with their little ones to prepare and cook healthy, budget-friendly meals. Over three weeks, you'll have the opportunity to practice essential kitchen skills like chopping, measuring, and stirring, while following simple, child-friendly recipes with your 'little chef.' In addition to cooking, the course will include food-related play activities focused on themes like healthy eating, the importance of fruits and vegetables, and hand hygiene—making learning fun and engaging for all ages. </p>

How will I be taught?
<p>Sessions will be delivered by a tutor in a small group so that you and your child can learn together. </p>
What will I need to bring?
<p>Please bring an apron if you have one, or wear clothes you don’t mind getting a bit dirty. </p>
<p>All the recipes, equipment and ingredients will be provided. </p>
Will I get a qualification?
<p>No.</p>
What will I be able to do after this course?
<p>After completing the course, you and your little one will have gained some basic cooking skills and be able to follow some simple recipes together. You'll also have a greater understanding of healthy eating habits and good kitchen hygiene practices. With these new skills, you'll be ready to continue cooking fun, nutritious meals at home with your little chef! </p>
