Madanu: Upcycling

Learn how upcycling can save the environment and money. Give new life to your old clothing and furniture; this is a chance to be creative and learn how to upcycle an item of your choice.

By the end of the course, you will:

• understand the benefits of upcycling
• be able to identify items that can be upcycled
• produce one upcycled item

Everything is provided but you may choose to bring a pad and pen to make notes.

Your progress will be assessed through informal group and individual activities such as discussions and workbooks.

You will receive information and advice about your next steps that could include further learning, volunteering or routes into employment.

We will contact you to make sure this course is the right one for you.

You will join a small group in a friendly and supportive environment. Interactive learning will take place through discussions, group work, videos and hands-on practice of different tools and techniques.
