What is the course about?

<p>This course is for people with limited cooking skills. It aims to develop your knowledge and skills to be able to plan and create healthy and affordable home cooked food using basic cooking techniques. Each week you will prepare and cook tasty and affordable meals in supportive environment that you will share together.</p>

Who is eligible for this course?

What will I learn?

<p>By the end of this course you will:</p>

<li>Be able to prepare and cook healthy, tasty and affordable dishes </li>
<li>Develop your basic cooking skills</li>
<li>Understand ways to economise and adapt recipes when planning a meal</li>
</ul>

What materials do I need?

<p>Everything is provided but you may choose to bring a pad and pen to make notes.</p>

How will I be assessed?

<p>Your progress will be assessed through informal group and individual activities such as discussions and workbooks.</p>

What can I do next?

<p>You will receive information and advice about your next steps that could include further learning, volunteering or routes into employment.</p>
