Getting smarter with your iPhone

<p>This course is for iPhone users who can do the basics such as make calls and send text messages, but would like to learn how to use the ‘smart’ features on their device. This course will include staying safe online, changing settings and using a variety of apps to suit your needs. By the end of the course you will be confident in using some of the key features of your iPhone.</p>

<p>*Please remember to bring your own iPhone to each session.</p>

<p>By the end of the course, you will</p>

<p>-Understand how to stay safe online</p>

<p>-Be able to change settings on your phone to suit your needs</p>

<p>-Be able to use and manage apps</p>

<p>Everything is provided but you may choose to bring a pad and pen to make notes. Please remember to bring your own iPhone to each session.</p>

<p>Your progress will be assessed through informal group and individual activities such as discussions and workbooks.</p>

<p>You will receive information and advice about your next steps that could include further learning, volunteering or routes into employment.</p>

<p>You will join a small group in a friendly and supportive environment. Interactive learning will take place through discussions, group work, videos and hands-on practice of different tools and techniques.</p>
