Preparing for Functional Skills English - Level 1

<p>This a short 6 week course designed to prepare you for the full English Functional Skills qualification at Level 1.</p>

<p>The course is tailored to your individual needs in English and will give you the opportunity to identify your stengths and areas for development. It aims to develop your confidence and understand the qualification requirements.</p>

We will work with you to understand your current skill level to ensure you are enrolled on the correct level of course.</p>

<p>By the end of this course, you will:</p>

<p>- Identify your strengths and areas for improvement in reading, writing and Speaking, listening and communication</p>

<p>- Improve your understanding of at least two identified subject areas</p>

<p>Everything is provided but we would recommend that you bring a pad to take notes.</p>

<p>We will assess your current skills to make sure you join the correct level course.</p>

<p>You will join a small group in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere, with interactive learning through discussions, quizzes, hands-on exercises, presentations and videos, as well as independent work.</p>

<p>You will have access to our online learning platform to improve your skills and check your progress.</p>
