What is the course about?

<p>This workshop, led by two assistant educational psychologists from Swindon Borough Council, explores why good-quality sleep is so important for children’s wellbeing, learning, and emotional regulation. We’ll look at how sleep and stress affect the developing brain, common sleep difficulties, and what helps, including routines, environment, and reassurance. The session also shares practical, easy-to-use strategies you can try at home to support healthier sleep patterns. If you’d like to feel more confident in helping your child get the rest they need, this workshop may be helpful for you.</p>

Who is eligible for this course?

What will I learn?

What materials do I need?

<p>Everything is provided but you may choose to bring a pad and pen to make notes.  Please remember it is an online course and you will need access to the internet.</p>

How will I be assessed?

<p>Your progress will be assessed through informal group and individual activities such as discussions.</p>

What can I do next?

<p>You will receive information and advice about your next steps that could include further learning, volunteering or routes into employment.</p>
