What is the course about?
<p>This workshop, led by two assistant educational psychologists from Swindon Borough Council, explores how the online world affects children and young people, including their three core psychological needs, the constant presence of the virtual world, and how technology can influence developing brains. We’ll look at the four main types of digital harm, alongside the many positives that technology can offer. The session will also share practical strategies and advice to help you support your child in staying safe, balanced, and confident online. If you’d like to feel more informed and equipped to guide your child’s digital life, this workshop may be helpful for you.</p>
Who is eligible for this course?

What will I learn?

What materials do I need?
<p>Everything is provided but you may choose to bring a pad and pen to make notes. Please remember it is an online course and you will need access to the internet.</p>

<p>Your progress will be assessed through informal group and individual activities such as discussions.</p>

<p>You will receive information and advice about your next steps that could include further learning, volunteering or routes into employment.</p>
