What is the course about?
<p>With COSHH Level 2, you can apply for roles involving chemicals, cleaning, facilities, manufacturing, healthcare, and any job where hazardous substances are present: Cleaning & Facilities; Janitorial/Facilities Assistant; Manufacturing & Industrial; Healthcare & Care Sector; Waste & Environmental Services; Retail & Commercial; Catering & Hospitality. </p>
<p><strong>*PLEASE NOTE: Courses that are held at Gorse Hill Baptist Church or Enterprise Works involve the use of induction hobs, so may not be suitable for learners who have pacemakers or insulin pumps. If you think you may be affected, please contact us and we may be able to suggest alternative courses.*</strong></p>
Who is eligible for this course?

What will I learn?
<p>By the end of the course, you will understand:</p>

<li>The law relating to hazardous substances in the workplace</li>
<li>How risk assessments contribute to the safe use of hazardous substances in the workplace</li>
<li>The precautions and procedures necessary to ensure that risks associated with hazardous substances are properly controlled</li>
</ul>
What materials do I need?
<p>Everything is provided but you may choose to bring a pad and pen to make notes.</p>
How will I be assessed?
<p>You will complete a multiple choice exam at the end of course. You will be given support to prepare for the exam.</p>
What can I do next?
<p>You will receive information and advice about your next steps that could include further learning, volunteering or routes into employment.</p>
