Getting into work

<p>This course aims to help you build your skills and confidence to be able to apply for jobs and prepare for interviews. You will also create a CV that reflects your skills, qualities and expereince. </p>

<p>This course runs for one 2 hour session a week for 6 weeks.</p>

<p>By the end of this course, you will be able to:</p>

<li>Understand your skills and match them to local jobs</li>
<li>Apply for jobs that meet your needs</li>
</ul>

<p>Everything is provided but you may choose to bring a pad and pen to make notes.</p>

<p>Your progress will be assessed through informal group and individual activities such as discussions and workbooks.</p>

<p>You will receive information and advice about your next steps that could include further learning, volunteering or routes into employment.</p>

<p>We will contact you to make sure this course is the right one for you.</p>

<p>You will join a small group in a friendly and supportive environment. Interactive learning will take place through discussions, group work, videos and hands-on practice of different tools and techniques.</p>
