What is the course about?

<p>This introductory course aims to provide you with an opportunity to reflect on personal skills, where you would like to be in the work place and explore some of the choices available. It aims to improve your confidence and skills to be able to apply for work.</p>

Who is eligible for this course?

What will I learn?

<p>By the end of this course, you will be able to:</p>

<li>Understand your skills and match them to local jobs</li>
<li>Apply for jobs that meet your needs</li>
</ul>

What materials do I need?

<p>Everything is provided but you may choose to bring a pad and pen to make notes.</p>

How will I be assessed?

<p>Your progress will be assessed through informal group and individual activities such as discussions and workbooks.</p>

What can I do next?

<p>You will receive information and advice about your next steps that could include further learning, volunteering or routes into employment.</p>

How will you learn?

<p>You will join a small group in a friendly and supportive environment. Interactive learning will take place through discussions, group work, videos and hands-on practice of different tools and techniques.</p>
