Madanu: Upcycling

<p>Learn how upcycling can save the environment and money. Give new life to your old clothing and furniture; this is a chance to be creative and learn how to upcycle an item of your choice.</p>

<p>By the end of the course, you will:</p>

<ul>
<li>understand the benefits of upcycling</li>
<li>be able to identify items that can be upcycled</li>
<li>produce one upcycled item</li>
</ul>

<p>Everything is provided but you may choose to bring a pad and pen to make notes.</p>

<p>Your progress will be assessed through informal group and individual activities such as discussions and workbooks.</p>

<p>You will receive information and advice about your next steps that could include further learning, volunteering or routes into employment.</p>

<p>You will join a small group in a friendly and supportive environment. Interactive learning will take place through discussions, group work, videos and hands-on practice of different tools and techniques.</p>
