What is the course about?
<p>This course aims to help you gain a good understanding of the mechanics of sleep and the various factors that can disrupt your sleep patterns such as environmental influences, lifestyle habits and stress. You will also have an opportunity to identify ways to improve your own sleep and wellbeing. </p>
Who is eligible for this course?

What will I learn?
<p>By the end of this course, learners will: </p>

<li>Understand sleep and its benefits</li>
<li>Understand what can cause a lack of sleep and the impact of this on health and well-being </li>
<li>Identify ideas and techniques to improve sleep and well-being</li>
</ul>
What materials do I need?
<p>Everything is provided but you may choose to bring a pad and pen to make notes.</p>
How will I be assessed?
<p>Your progress will be assessed through informal group and individual activities such as discussions and workbooks.</p>
What can I do next?
<p>You will receive information and advice about your next steps that could include further learning, volunteering or routes into employment.</p>
