What the course is about

<p>Would you like a bit of help when it comes to the children&#039;s maths homework?</p>

<p>Maybe you are confused by the new methods they use in schools these days or perhaps just feel like you need to refresh your maths skills.</p>

<p>Don&#039;t worry! Help is at hand with this short course for parents and care-givers of primary school children.</p>

<p>Our friendly tutors will:</p>

<ul>
<li>Take you through what your kids are doing in maths lessons</li>
<li>Increase your confidence in your own maths skills whatever your starting point</li>
<li>Demonstrate fun number games and activities you can use at home.</li>
</ul>

Assessment of progress, tests, exams

<p>There are no exams on this course although you may be expected to complete some homework tasks. </p>

<p>Your tutors will review your progress with you from time to time to make sure you are staying on track for your learning goals.</p>

Who the course is for / Previous experience, knowledge or qualifications

<p>This course is for parents, grandparents and care-givers of primary age children.</p>

<p>No qualifications or previous experience required.</p>

Materials and costs

<p>This course is funded by the Government’s Multiply fund. Therefore, there are no fees or charges for course materials. However, you are expected to have your own pens and pencils, paper, ruler and calculator.</p>

<p>As this is an online course, you will need to be able to access the online sessions and materials on a computer, mobile phone or other device.</p>
