What the course is about

<p>This is an online course suitable for beginners.</p>

<p>Digital marketing comprises all marketing efforts that use the internet. These include digital channels such as search engines, email, websites, social media, etc., that can be used to connect with current and prospective customers.</p>

<p>Digital marketing helps businesses reach a larger audience and target prospects who are most likely to buy products and services. This growing industry is ripe with opportunity for those who can build strategies to inspire audiences and drive sales.</p>

<p>Qualification content:</p>

<p>Unit 1: Social Media for Business<br />
Unit 2: Email as a Promotional Tool for Business<br />
Unit 3: Digital Marketing Review<br />
Unit 4: Understanding Search Engine Optimisation for Business<br />
Unit 5: Digital Marketing for Business</p>

<p>This course supports you to prepare for job roles that require skills and knowledge of digital marketing.</p>

<p>Each learner will work at their own speed but will be supported by the Area Programme for Distance Learning courses, Nicky Ellison, <a href="mailto:nellison@salbcp.com">nellison@salbcp.com</a> if required.</p>

<p>You will receive an e-certificate of achievement on completion of all the assessments.</p>

<p>Learners need to be able to use a computer, you will be asked to complete a Learning Agreement prior to the course.</p>

<p>There are assessments to complete on this course which will be marked automatically. You must complete and pass all assessments in order to receive your certificate.</p>

<strong>Fully funded learners:</strong> if you have been offered a fully funded place on a course and no longer require it, you must advise us before the course starts so that your place can be offered to someone else. <strong>Home study:</strong> you will&nbsp;be required to do significant&nbsp;study at home between sessions to assist with your learning and progress.<br />

<strong>Proof of identity:</strong> please bring photographic ID and your National Insurance number with you to your first session. You will also need to provide it for any external examinations you take.<br />
<strong>Off-site activities:</strong> with some courses, there may be the opportunity for off-site enrichment activities at additional cost, for example: gallery, museum or exhibition visits. Where this is an integral part of the course, your tutor will discuss the arrangements with you during your induction.<br />
<strong>Parking at centres:</strong> parking at centres may be limited; please be prepared to use on street parking or pay and display car parks.
