Supporting my Bilingual Child

<p>This course is aimed at teaching assistants and parent volunteers supporting children being brought up in bilingual households. The course covers the advantages of being bilingual, research into bilingualism, strategies for encouraging childhood bilingualism, supporting bilingual children in the classroom and developing bilingual resources.</p>

<p>Must be resident in London, preferrably in the borough of Kensington and Chelsea</p>

<p>Must be aged 19+</p>

<p>Targeted at parents, carers and teaching assistants supporting bilingual children</p>

<p>Progressing to further family learning provision or moving on to other adult learning opportunities</p>
