What the course is about

<p>Join Nadine Kaadan, an award-winning children’s book author and illustrator, published in several countries and languages.  She will lead a fun and creative workshop, taking children along with her on her creative process, sharing her inspiration including the magnificent architecture of Damascus where she grew up. Children will take part in live drawing activities and draw-along challenges, as well as hearing Nadine read from her book ‘Tomorrow’. Adults will grow their confidence in supporting children to read and develop a love of books, as well as thinking about how their children see themselves in a story and represented in the pages of the books they have at home. Inspired by ‘Tomorrow’, families will co-create an artwork imagining peace. </p>

Entry Requirements

<p>Parents or carers with children aged between 5 - 10 years old. Parents/carers must have documneted right to live in the UK and be resident in London, preferrably in the borough of Kensington and Chelsea</p>

Next Step

<p>Parents will develop their parenting skills and confidence in supporting their children’s development, and seek out further family learning opportunities in museum and gallery settings. </p>
