What the course is about
This 6 week course is for families new to family learning designed to help parents/carers who are co-parenting where both parents are supporting the child’s/children’s needs or for parents just starting to co-parent.
It is parent led support with the children at the centre of the focus ensuring seamless parenting.
Topics will include:
Building self-esteem for children and parents
Understanding and acknowledging the needs behind behaviour
Dealing with feelings and setting limits
Listening skills
Previous experience, knowledge or qualifications
No previous experience required but you will asked to read and consent to our online learning guidance
Materials you need to bring
Paper and pen for notes, a device that can access the Internet
Assessments, tests, exams
Pre and post evaluations to monitor progress
At the end of the course
There will be a short questionnaire as well as a post evaluation to complete to evaluate the course. You will have the opportunity to share with us your thoughts on what you enjoyed and any improvement we could make.
