Festive Block Printing & Lino Cuts

<p>Discover the joy of printmaking with artist Lucy in this hands-on two-part course, where you&#039;ll make your own printing blocks and use them to create uniquely personal festive cards, napkins, and more—no experience necessary.</p>

<p>In this first session we will learn how to Lino cut simple stamps, and make your own printing blocks using foamboard and sponge.</p>

<p>In the second session we will learn how to use the Lino cut stamps and printing blocks made in part 1 to create uniquely individual printed cards, fabric napkins, and time permitting a table runner. Create your own designs from scratch or use a selection of stencils to get you going.</p>

<p>*The blocks and stamps we make will be used to print cards, table napkins and possibly a table runner in the second workshop, Sunday 1st November.</p>

<p>Headstone Manor & Museum is conveniently located on public transport links and offers bike parking and free parking for those arriving by car. Regardless of your mode of transport, you can easily plan your journey here.</p>

<p>Arrival & location: · Please aim to arrive 5-10 minutes prior to the scheduled start time of your workshop. Upon arrival, make your way directly to the Great Hall in the Museum, where your workshop will be held. · Please note that if you anticipate being more than 15 minutes late, kindly inform us in advance to ensure your spot is secured. We can’t guarantee admission if you’re more than 15-minutes late without notice. · Arrive at your booked workshop time, we can’t always accommodate people in other workshops.</p>

<p>· As a heads-up, some of the sessions have outside elements, so dress accordingly!</p>
