Fashion/Dressmaking and Pattern Cutting- Face to Face

Introduce learners to sewing, using the sewing machine, basic skills in Dressmaking.Intermediates: create bodice block. Advanced: expand skills to a professional level. All levels/mixed ability (please see attached for details).

No previous experience required but you will asked to read and consent to our online learning guidance

Pattern Paper, Scissors, needle, thread, pencil, chalk, Tracing wheel, paper scissors /sewing machine, rulers, French curves, material/fabric, old bed sheets can be used for samples

Informal assessment of your learning by your tutor

There will be a short questionnaire to complete to evaluate the course. You will have the opportunity to share with us your thoughts on what you enjoyed and any improvement we could make.
