What the course is about
<p><strong>Course 1: My Home, Your Home, Manor Home</strong></p>
<p><span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif">This autumn, little explorers will discover what makes a house a home through stories, creative play, building activities and sensory exploration inspired by the historic Headstone Manor. Together we'll compare homes past and present, meet the people who once lived here and create our own miniature manor houses.</span></span></p>

<p><strong>Course 2: Around the Moat</strong></p>
<p>Splash into history this autumn as we explore one of Headstone Manor's most fascinating features – its moat. Through water play, storytelling, nature discovery and creative activities, children will investigate who lives in and around the moat, build mini bridges, explore habitats and set off on their own moat adventures. Designed especially for toddlers and preschoolers, these sessions encourage curiosity, imagination and confidence while introducing children to the unique history and wildlife of Headstone Manor.</p>

<li><span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif">Please aim to arrive <strong>5-10 minutes prior</strong> to the scheduled start time of your workshop. Upon arrival, make your way directly to the <strong>Great Hall</strong>/<strong>Granary building</strong>, where your workshop will be held.</span></span></li>
<li><span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif">Please note that if you anticipate being more than 15 minutes late, kindly inform us in advance to ensure your spot is secured. <strong>We can’t guarantee admission if you’re more than 15-minutes late without notice. </strong></span></span></li>
<li><span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif">Arrive at your booked workshop time, we can’t always accommodate people in other workshops.</span></span></li>

Previous experience, knowledge or qualifications
<p><span style="font-size:11.0pt"><span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Deborah Herald is brilliant local artist and a qualified Level 3 Forest School Leader, with over six years’ experience of delivering educational sessions with various Forest School, outdoor learning and preschool settings in London. She has delivered great workshops for families over the years at the museum. </span></span></p>
Materials you need to bring

<li><span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif">Materials are all provided for this workshop! We recommend bringing a bottle of water with you. </span></span></li>
<li><span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif">Please dress in appropriate clothing (or bring an apron), some of <strong>the workshops will get messy</strong>! </span></span></li>

<li><span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif">During your visit, our Moat Café and Visitor Centre will be open from 10am to 4pm.</span></span></li>
<li><span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif">Restroom facilities and a baby changing station are available in the Granary Building where the workshop is located.</span></span></li>
