Description
Are you interested in knowing more about the field of Housing? This course will provide a brief introduction to the Chartered Institute of Housing accredited course. You will also learn about community housing, enabling you to get more involved in local housing decisions that may have an impact on your circumstances.
What can students expect?
This course is open to adults who are resident in Lambeth and who are interested in working in housing and regeneration. Suitable for students who can read, write and communicate well in English. At the end of this course, you will be able to:
Discover what the Level 2 ‘Involvement in Housing and Communities’ course involves
Review issues relating to community housing
Discuss career opportunities in the housing field
Distinguish between public and private sector housing

You will learn using a combination of working in groups and on an individual, one-to-one basis through practical activities and facilitated discussions.
