You will learn about healthy eating, physical exercise and their benefits on your entire body and mind.
You will learn how to cook a healthy meal.
You will understand how to keep yourself healthy.

What the course will cover

At the end of this course, you should be able to:
A recognise stress signs and symptoms and choose techniques for relaxation
B stop following all the diet myths
C manage blood sugar to reduce stress hormone release and support cardiovascular health
D work out meal plans for the week to suit tastes and lifestyles
E prepare a wholefood balanced diet
F understand what nutrients are needed for mental and physical health

Teaching method/style?

Various resources will be used during sessions such as presentations, computers, worksheets. You will also spend some time in the kitchen preparing healthy meals under tutor’s supervision
