Sewing Improvers (E2)

This course is designed to teach you a whole range of incredibly useful alteration skills using both hand and machine techniques. You will learn the tricks to make things fit, be it new or vintage purchases.

At the end of this course, you should be able to:
Sew on buttons and other fastenings
Do some unpicking and patching
Make a gusset with a zip
Make a lined tote bag with a zip and a pocket.

We will give you all the information about your next steps before you finish the course. The tutor will help you to decide on your progression. There will be an opportunity to arrange 1:1 meeting with career specialist.
