Assessment Method

<p>Learners will be assessed informally throughout the course through participation, practical engagement and reflective discussion rather than formal testing or accreditation. Assessment methods will include: </p>

<p>Observation of learners’ participation in creative activities, experimentation with materials and willingness to try new techniques. </p>

<p>Informal tutor feedback during practical sessions to support skill development, confidence and creative expression. </p>

<p>Group discussions and sharing activities where learners reflect on their ideas, processes and experiences. </p>

<p>Opportunities for self-reflection using mindfulness prompts and creative journalling to explore wellbeing, focus and personal progress. </p>

<p>Review of completed creative work produced across photography, ceramics and art and design sessions. </p>

<p>This intensive 5-day engagement programme is designed to support adults in Lambeth to improve wellbeing, confidence, creativity, communication and social connection through accessible arts-based learning. </p>

<p>The course will provide an inclusive introduction to a range of creative disciplines while supporting mental wellbeing, self-expression and progression into further learning opportunities. The programme responds directly to the increasing need for creative wellbeing provision and accessible adult learning opportunities within Lambeth. </p>

<p>The course also provides an opportunity to pilot and shape 26/27 curriculum development based on learner feedback, participation and progression outcomes.</p>

Previous experience required?

<p>19+, Lambeth resident, low-wage / unemployed. Partnering with Carer’s Hub, IRMO, SLAM, The Pan London Care Leavers Compact and St Mungos to deliver a course suitable for their service users. </p>

What is the progression route?

<p>Learners will be directed to Photofusion and 198 CAL’s 26/27 LAL courses. </p>
