<p>This practical, hands-on course begins with a guided still-life drawing session, where learners will focus on observation, light, and shadow. Throughout the session, learners will be introduced to various mindfulness techniques and prompts, that will help guide their approach to art and will be encouraged to think about how these can be incorporated within their practice to promote wellbeing.  </p>

<p>In the afternoon, students will learn how to transform their line drawings into cyanotype prints, exploring an accessible and creative process that combines collage and printmaking techniques. </p>

<p>Participants will take home all the work they produce during the course. </p>

Previous experience required?

<p>19+, Lambeth resident, low-wage/unemployed. Partnering with Carer’s Hub, IRMO, Breadwinners, SLAM and approaching The Pan London Care Leavers Compact to deliver a course suitable for their service users. </p>

What is the progression route?

<p>Learners will be directed to Photofusion and 198 CAL’s 2025/2026 LAL courses, which are currently recruiting for B1 participants. </p>
