ESOL in Community (E2)

Improve your English and be more confident when using English. The course is for everyone who speaks English but would like to improve their skills and take active part in a community. You will practise listening and speaking and reading and writing. You will a chance to take part in role plays and practise vocabulary necessary in everyday life. You will also have an excellent opportunity to use English in real life situations by participating in sample sales in White Stuff.

At the end of this course, you should be able to:
Take part in a simple discussion
Write in English using longer sentences
Ask detailed questions about people’s details, life
Read and have a general understanding of a short newspaper article
Express yourself using different expressions
Be more confident when using English

Taking part in group activities, pair work as well as individual worksheets. Regular written assessments and feedback will highlight achievement and progress.
