Learn ways to help develop your reading, writing and literacy skills in an environment which allows you to progress at your own pace. You will set yourself targets and goals and be able to look back and see the progress you have made and the achievements that you have succeeded in.
What can students expect?
At the end of this course, you will be able to:
Learn skills and develop tools which will support you with your reading and writing.
Learn effective reading methods which will allow you to become a better reader.
Understand the importance of correct grammar and spelling.
Allow you to take activities away with you which will help you to continue learning beyond the classroom.
Teaching method/style?
You will learn using a combination of working in groups and on an individual, one-to-one basis through practical activities and demonstrations. Learning Plans will record your progress and achievement.

You will be offered advice and guidance during the course on what you could do next. For example, you could progress to an Entry Level Functional Skills in English course.
