What is this course about?

Life can be challenging — this course helps you build the confidence and skills to handle it.

By taking part, you will:

<li>Recognise situations where resilience is needed</li>
<li>Develop positive ways to respond to challenges</li>
<li>Build confidence in your ability to overcome obstacles</li>
</ul>

This course is all about helping you feel more capable, confident, and in control in everyday life.

Who is the course for?

This course is ideal if you:

<li>Want to build your confidence and self-belief</li>
<li>Are facing challenges and want better coping strategies</li>
<li>Are preparing for work, further learning, or personal development</li>
<li>Would like to gain a recognised qualification</li>
</ul>

Any previous experience/qualifications you need to do the course

A good level of conversational and written English is needed to complete this course. 

 

To access full funding:

<li>Aged 19+ and living in Hertfordshire</li>
<li>Either unemployed and receiving benefits, or earning under £25,000</li>
</ul>

What you need to bring with you

If the course is being run online, you will need a PC or laptop with good Wi-Fi and a webcam or built-in camera.

Please note a mobile device alone will not suffice.

You’ll learn in a supportive and interactive environment through:

How much studying will I need to do outside the lesson?
