What is this course about?

<p><span style="font-size:12.0pt"><span style="font-family:&#34;Source Sans Pro&#34;,sans-serif">During the course you will be shown how to sew five different projects which contain a range of sewing techniques including fitting a zip, sewing darts and creating buttonholes. </span></span></p>

Who is the course for?

<p><span style="font-size:12.0pt"><span style="font-family:&#34;Source Sans Pro&#34;,sans-serif">This course is aimed at those who have sewn in the past and feel they need a refresher.  Plus, those who can complete basic projects and wish to extend their knowledge.  </span></span></p>

Any previous experience/qualifications you need to do the course

<p><span style="font-size:12.0pt"><span style="font-family:&#34;Source Sans Pro&#34;,sans-serif">A basic level of conversational and written English. Reasonable motor skills, as you will need to be able to manipulate fabric and tools. Plus, you will need a working sewing machine and basic tools and materials</span></span></p>

What you need to bring with you

<p><span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif"><span style="font-size:12.0pt"><span style="font-family:&#34;Source Sans Pro&#34;,sans-serif">Face to Face sessions: We have a small selection of fabric for students to choose from plus a range of tools that can be used during the session. If you do not have a sewing machine, we have some available to borrow during the session. If there are more students wishing to borrow a machine than machines, then students may have to share. </span></span></span></span></p>

<p><span style="font-size:12.0pt"><span style="font-family:&#34;Source Sans Pro&#34;,sans-serif">Remote sessions: Students will need to provide all materials and tools to complete the project being created. A material listing will be provided prior to the start of the course. We also suggest items you would normally throw away so reduce costs and be sustainable</span></span></p>

How you will be assessed

<p><span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif"><span style="font-size:12.0pt"><span style="font-family:&#34;Source Sans Pro&#34;,sans-serif">Through questions and answers, the completion of weekly learner reflection forms and a sample of your work completed during the session.</span></span></span></span></p>
